Happy Birthday Quila!

Tejas and I attempted to go see the Bourne Ultimatum this morning but were foiled in our attempt by a flat tire. I don’t know why but I feel like I’ve experience an inordinate amount of flat tires in my life. I’ve had one with my mom, one with Sheila, one with my whole family in Ohio, now one with Tejas. I feel like I’m missing one in there. I think I’ve had two with my mom.

It didn’t take too long for Tejas to change it but we missed the movie time. Instead, we got Taco Bell and squishes and went home and watched 16 Blocks on TV. Not a terrible movie. But a very relaxing day after the excitement of the tire. Actually there wasn’t even much excitement with the tire. At least all these flats have basically shown me how to change a flat so when I get one on my own I won’t be screwed.

Went to see the Harry Potter movie, but in IMAX. How exciting, right? But it doesn’t stop there – there is a 20 minute 3D section toward the end. It was kind of cool and something different. I haven’t seen anything in 3D in a really long time. As for the movie itself, I wasn’t all that impressed. I guess I didn’t really appreciate some of the changes they chose to make. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn’t just finished reading the book. That just makes the differences pop and the book is always better.

Everyone is coming! Sheila, Ann, Lisa! I can't wait!!

Went to the Kwiki-mart! There is a 7-11 near Midway that is all decked out to look like a Kwiki-Mart in honor of the Simpsons Movie. Got KrustyOs and a Radio Active Man comic book and drank a squishee. I would have gotten some Buzz Cola but they'd run out. Lots of fun! When we left there was actually a line and an employee was standing outside letting people in a few at a time. Crazy. I felt bad for people who normally go to that 7-11 for normal things.

But before the Kwiki-Mart, went bathing suit shopping with Lauren. I haven't bought a bathing suit in years. It's really kind of sad that I haven't needed one. But we found one that doesn't look half bad on me. It's a brown and white two piece with a halter style top. Feeling a bit guilty about spending the money but at least now I have something for Noah's Ark. The Go Nuts party is tonight and that should be fun. Themed parties are always a good time.

I hate spiders. I'm generally terrified of bugs. I don't know how I would handle this if it was real life. I'd probably end up smashing it with a shoe. Hmm, crushing my own soul.

All these women at school are wearing skirts.  I feel so disappointed that I didn't decide to wear one today too.  I really wish i had.  At least then I'd feel like I somehow enjoyed the weather even though I haven't.  :(

Everything is white. WHITE. The sky last night was white. It was almost as bright as day. I need some color. Why does it always have to snow on the days that I want to go out and need to drive a car? Why can't it snow on the days that I'm staying in? How does the universe know?

I used to just get spam that wanted me to buy Viagra. Now, in addition to that, I'm getting spam supposedly from girls who found my email somewhere or other and want to show me pictures of themselves. I think the internet thinks I'm a man.

Today was a snow day! My mom, brother, and I all got to stay home! I felt like a little kid. I got to stay home and I played video games. It's a little weird to get this much snow this early. I guess that means it may be a snowy winter. I just wish people were around to make snowmen and have snowball fights.

There are a bunch of old entries I finally made friends instead of private. Just a heads up for those interested. Now I get to read all of your entries that I've missed because I can't manage my time. Why do you guys put up with me?
